Recel is preserved fruit jam, it can be made from different types of fruits used on top of bread for breakfast.

Ingredients Required:

For 3 cups of jam
Your desired fruit (strawberries) (5 cups)
Sugar (900g)
Lemon (1 tablespoon)
Water (3 tablespoon)

Preparation Method:

  • Boil the fruit which you like on medium heat for 10 minutes
  • After 10 minutes, add sugar and stir gently on medium heat for 25 minutes
  • Stir infrequently and carefully skim any foam with a slotted spoon
  • After 25 minutes add lemon juice and turn off the heat
  • After getting cold, add to clean glass jar and store in the refrigerator and the server whenever you need
